Angelic Layer (Enter the Crux)

Ender is a 15 year old teen who just recently moved from america to Japan with his falster dad and mom. He discovered an attraction to the new game involving dolls that could battle in tournaments. He rushed to the store with money he had saved up from numerous jobs back in the states and was anxious to try out this new competative sport. His parents allowed it as they were anxious to gain favor in his eyes. He took his time in constructing the doll and made him an endurance type, with speed and stregnth. He named him Crux and took him to places to practice his combative skills. Ender had a hard time in trying to grasp the mind combating concept and Crux was an out of control figurine! Many kids gathered around taking advantage of him and challenged his Crux to non-official battles. Crux lost all 23 matches but was progressing in his control over Crux. His 24th match made no difference although it was the crux of his situation...

"Oh no," said a young boy all of 8, Crux dodged a powerful blow and Ender grew too excited to contain his composure. "Yes, I'm finally going to win!" He made Crux throw all he had into knocking his opponent out of the ring but his opponent dodged that powerful flying kick and Crux himself fell out of the arena! A 24th loss and still one more person approached...
